Step into The Illusion, an exclusive evening where storytelling and cinema meet artistry. This one-of-a-kind event offers guests a private screening of Do We Really Have Control? alongside an immersive reveal of the official film posters and upcoming projects. Guests will also take part in a moderated Q&A and networking reception with filmmakers, community leaders, and special guests.

In addition to the film experience, The Illusion will showcase the Somebody’s Story Grants, sponsored by Advocates for Community Wellness, Inc., MDNewsline, Eventnoire, and The National Coalition of 100 Black Women Chicago Metropolitan Chapter. These grants honor resilience and provide direct support to young adults and survivors whose voices are often overlooked.

The Illusion is more than an event. It is a first look behind the curtain, offering audiences the chance to experience the raw power of story while celebrating impact and community.

All proceeds benefit The Nicole House Foundation, and this event is presented in partnership with the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.
